Our story

A note from Giselle

Your body isn’t broken. It just needs the right support.

I’m Giselle. I created Ovali on the Sunshine Coast after years of navigating PCOS and feeling like I’d run out of options. This is how it started, and why Cycle Tea exists.

How it started

  1. Something didn’t feel right

For years I felt disconnected from my body. I knew something wasn’t right, but I didn’t know where to turn.

I was overwhelmed, frustrated and tired of searching for answers on my own.

  2. Handed the pill, not real support

I spent years navigating PCOS. When I went looking for support, I was handed the pill.

What I really wanted was to understand my own body and cycle, and to feel like I had more than one option.

The turning point

A note from the founder

I started looking into this because I felt like I’d run out of options. I’m sharing what I found so you feel a little less alone.”

Why Cycle Tea

  1. So I started learning

I started researching my own cycle. I read studies, asked a lot of questions and kept notes on the things I found really interesting.

Some of them became part of my own routine. This is my experience, not medical advice, and I’m still learning too.

  2. The ritual I wish I’d had at sixteen

Cycle Tea is the daily ritual I wish I’d had at sixteen: a caffeine-free herbal infusion of Spearmint, Chamomile, Rose, Lemon Balm and Licorice Root, herbs traditionally used in women’s wellness.

It isn’t a medicine or a cure. It’s a few quiet minutes in your day that are just for you. A little ritual. A lot of intention.

  3. A place to learn, together

Ovali is also a space to learn more about your body, explore the research and ask better questions of your own healthcare professional.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’m not a medical professional, and this isn’t medical advice. I’m sharing my own experience and the research I’ve found while trying to better understand my body. What helped me may not be right for everyone, so always speak with your own healthcare professional about your individual circumstances.
